Shoot for the Moon

“Shoot for the Moon" is a 24 x 30 mixed media piece created with acrylics, pencil, and oil pastel on canvas. This one came together quickly, which is normally not the case. It was right around the time of the Artemis launch, and while I wasn’t intentionally painting the launch, it somehow snuck into my painting. 

This piece is about going for it. Following your curiosity without needing a clear outcome. Trusting that starting is enough.
I began painting eleven years ago just for fun, on weekends and at night while running my jewelry business full time. Over time, that small creative outlet grew into something bigger. 

"Shoot for the Moon" is a fun reminder that it’s never too late to follow your curiosity, to begin, to shift, or to just show up—and see where it takes you.
