This mixed media painting is inspired by the George Strait concert my husband and daughter talked me into going to. I ended up knowing more of the songs than I expected—and having a great time!
One of the most powerful moments was realizing how unified the crowd was, everyone seemed to know every word. Surprisingly, I did too. That shared energy, along with the flashing stage lights and the electric atmosphere, is translated here through layered, repeating shapes and bright, vibrant color.
This colorful, playful piece fits perfectly into a room where people gather. A conversation piece for the den, living room, dining room, music room or playroom.
